Love 1

What is love? Do we even know what it is to really love?

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 says, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”

Do we show this kind of love to others? I know that I struggle with this as I start thinking of the things I want and how I am going to accomplish what I think I need to do.

What would happen if we showed just a bit more patience or kindness. Could we change our neighborhood, town, state, or country? What about the relationships we have with others? What would happen if we changed how much we love instead of waiting for the other person to change?

We have a couple of books in the library dealing with love. You may check them out at your convenience.
