Calling All Young Readers

Our favorite author, Beverly Lewis, isn’t just a prolific writer of adult fiction but has produced many children’s books. These books run in sequences like many of the captivating Amish stories Lewis writes.

THE CUL-DE-SAC KIDS is a popular series for your young reader to enjoy this summer. “Each story in this lighthearted series features the hilarious antics and predicaments of nine endearing boys and girls who live on Blossom Hill Lane.”

Book 1 begins with The Double Dabble Surprise and continues through 22 books. That is enough to keep your kids mesmerized throughout their summer vacation!

Abby Hunter and her little sister, Carly, can’t wait to meet their new Korean sisters. They buy “welcome home” presents to take to the airport. But the plane arrives without the Korean girls. Where are they? What could have happened? Abby and her Cul-de-sac friends on Blossom Hill Lane are in for an amazing surprise. Maybe for the surprise of their lives!

Lewis says, “You will always laugh when you read The Cul-de-sac Kids series. The books are full of humor and mystery.”

Bring your kids or grandkids to visit the Solid Rock Library on Sunday mornings during services and they will be excited about all the books for them on the shelves!
